Key ResponsibilitiesLead, develop, and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.Manage the analysis, contestation, and resolution processes of chargebacks related to acquiring, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risks for the acquirer.Develop, monitor, and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance and security in operational processes.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions for the continuous improvement of team results.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and card scheme requirements, with a focus on acquiring operations.Serve as the point of contact for internal and external audits related to chargeback / operations processes.Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization in partnership with technology and product teams.Maintain relationships with issuers, card schemes, TPAs (Third Party Acquirers), and peer areas to resolve complex cases and align processes.Prepare management reports and present results to senior leadership.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, or related fields.Proven experience in team management and chargeback processes, preferably within acquirers or the payments industry.Knowledge of the rules and regulations of major card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, etc.), with a focus on acquiring.Strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and results orientation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Advanced English and intermediate Spanish.DesirablePostgraduate degree or certifications in risk management, fraud prevention, or payments.Experience with automation or digital transformation projects.Privacy StatementWorldpay is committed to protecting the privacy and security of all personal information that we process in order to provide services to our clients.
