OverviewSenior Consultant Advisory Services - StrategyThe Senior Consultant works collaboratively within a team of qualified Advisory consultants to deliver performance improvement to healthcare systems.

This position will be primarily responsible for performing billable work for clients.

The Senior Consultant actively leads and participates in engagement workstreams, determines client needs in terms of the engagement statement of work, leads data analyses, interprets results, develops potential solutions, and prepares deliverables and presentations for various audiences.

It also supports risk identification and mitigation, manages workstream economics and project management, and assists in the implementation of recommended improvements.The Senior Consultant participates in all aspects of an engagement including identifying issues, formulating hypotheses, planning and conducting interviews, overseeing analytics, developing recommendations, synthesizing information into presentations, and helping to implement change.

The role involves daily management of project activities and workstream management and budgeting within the engagement team.The Senior Consultant participates in Premier internal activities including practice development and approved educational opportunities throughout the year, and learning the various technologies Premier offers to its clients.

The following expectations apply : Maintain utilization targets for client billable projectsCreate value through client interactions, data analytics and insights, and team participation on client projectsContribute to the Advisory practice through activities that grow and enrich the Practice as a whole or individual Service Lines

Analytics Focused RolesAnalysts on the Analytics team will have expertise in Premier and PINC AI databases and methods of connecting datasets to create enriched analytics content.

This role interacts with clients, internal product teams, and Advisory counterparts across service lines and is expected to build working relationships within the Premier / Client team.

They will lead production and quality assurance of client analytics deliverables and provide data-driven insights and solutions.

Additional responsibilities include : Build and maintain dynamic and interactive data models based on Premier and client needsLead process standardization effortsLead efforts to standardize and automate client deliverables and internal toolsTroubleshoot Tableau workbooks, SQL scripts, Excel analyses, etc.

Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibility #1 – 60%Obtain data, execute analyses, interpret results, prepare verbal and graphic presentations, and perform quality assurance on deliverables; manage the workstream and ensure client satisfaction.Assist in determining client needs through interviews and analysis; summarize findings and develop conclusions; draft recommendations for leadership review.Execute project plans per engagement statements of work and client objectives.Develop presentations and deliverables for client audiences communicating strategy and outcomes.Generate revenue through analyses, reporting, and assisting with implementation of changes.Participate in project management activities for the workstream and manage budget and expenses.Identify and mitigate risks and issues with the project leadership team.Responsibility #2 – 20%Participate in practice development activities for the Advisory Services Practice and / or Service Lines.Responsibility #3 – 10%Learn Premier-based technologies and services.Responsibility #4 – 5%Identify market opportunities on current engagements and share potential leads with managers.Contribute to development of sales presentation deliverables using prescribed formats and technology.Identify opportunities to improve profitability.Responsibility #5 – 5%Complete all required training annually.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $150,000 and final compensation depends on market factors, education, and experience.
