Location : Sao Paolo or Latam (Remote)

Rate : Up to $6,500 / month

Contract : Long Term

MongoDB experience is essential for this role.

Strong Communication in Spanish and English is required for this position (Bonus points for Portuguese too!)

The Job

As an Enterprise Application Architect , you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and architecture of a MongoDB-focused enterprise solution. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help drive the overall technical vision for the project—spanning cloud infrastructure, data design, and application lifecycle.

You’ll be expected to define scalable, cloud-ready architectures, and advise on best practices across migration, re-platforming, and greenfield builds. This is a hands-on architectural role where your input will shape every stage of the project lifecycle. While ambiguity exists, your strong leadership and communication skills will ensure clarity and direction throughout the engagement.

This project centers on MongoDB —your expertise with NoSQL systems (especially in migration or new build contexts) will be key to success.

You Will Need Experience With :

• MongoDB (deep practical experience essential)
• 5+ years in Enterprise Application Architecture
• Proven background in Cloud-Based Systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Architectural leadership across end-to-end application lifecycle
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Comfortable leading through uncertainty and ambiguity
• Experience with large-scale migrations , system modernization, or new platform builds
