Senior Process Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our team.

Based in Vila Velha, Brazil, reporting to the Process Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and conducting studies of methods, processes, organization, and optimization of manufacturing and engineering projects. Your role will include analyzing and planning continuous improvement opportunities in the production system, applying innovations in methodologies, techniques, and technologies to enhance efficiency and product quality. You will evaluate costs, equipment acquisition timelines, tools, schedules, and technical documentation. Ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and technical specifications in line with established guidelines, strategies, quality, safety, health, and environmental systems is essential.

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Monitor and analyze industrial process performance through measurements and tests to improve equipment performance and increase productivity.
• Conduct detailed studies on rationalization and optimization of production processes, overseeing the development and application of new methodologies, technologies, and operational tasks.
• Participate in developing new products and operational techniques to optimize costs and equipment efficiency.
• Provide technical support for projects and tests involving new equipment, processes, operations, and raw materials.
• Maintain updated technical documentation related to equipment, process control data, productivity indexes, and others.
• Monitor production, maintenance, and quality indicators, participating in preventive, corrective, and performance improvement processes for equipment and machinery.
• Define, collaboratively with other departments, data and technical information necessary for project development and methodology adaptation for new products, raw materials, etc.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and opinions, and update manuals based on studies, data collection, and operational programs.
• Generate technical and safety specifications for products and processes.
• Lead research projects, conducting economic feasibility analyses for modifications, replacements, or implementations of equipment, considering environmental, safety, and health impacts.
• Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and investment planning by providing technical data and insights.
