Project development director latam

As a Project Development Director, you will be responsible for leading the development of the Latam portfolio of projects (principally in Chile and Brazil). You will support management of complex projects that bring together hybrid renewable energy, water, electrolyzers, derivatives synthesis facilities, ports, and delivery pipelines. You will collaborate with a team of internal subject matter experts and external consultants to solve problems and advance projects to Ready to Build stage. In addition, you will support the VP of Development with a variety of company level objectives.Lead the project development efforts for (currently three) large-scale Pt X projects, in collaboration with external co-development partnersManage the co-development partners to ensure they are meeting performance objectives while also supporting them to advance the project through development milestonesOversee multiple external consultant SMEs who support the project across a variety of specialties including but not limited to : environmental studies, permitting, public affairs, real estate legal, engineering studies, Pt X technology, water engineering, and midstream transportationTravel to project sites to meet with co-developers and key stakeholders as neededSupport green hydrogen and derivatives strategy through staying up to date on industry trends, markets, policy, and competitive landscape; research subjects and provide reports to bolster the team’s knowledge baseLead regular project update meetings with the extended ANGH team and co-development partnersMaintain project budgets, gantt schedules, and KPI dashboardsAssist with project-level accounting and financialsProvide inputs into the techno economic model used to support project economics and offtakeSupport in discussions with potential partners or offtakersCoordinate with GIS and engineering to assist in developing project layoutsHelp with process improvement and protocol creation for the growing development organizationRequirements : Competencies / Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) : Entrepreneurial mindset and independent problem-solving skillsStrong interpersonal skillsClear-thinking and organizational approach, utilizing a Gantt chart to drive project strategyKnowledge of the full project development lifecycle and ability to lead cross-functional teamsExperience with large-scale infrastructure projectsKnowledge of green hydrogen, ammonia, or e-fuels is beneficial but not requiredEducation : Bachelor’s Degree requiredM.
