The Data Engineer acts as a critical member of the data science team, researching, building, and designing AI systems for machine learning, and maintaining and improving existing AI systems.

The role often involves acting as a key communicator between data scientists and the people who construct and run AI systems.The TeamRemote-based collaboration with a strong team and opportunities to expand skillsets across multiple parts of the organization.ResponsibilitiesIdentifying, creating, and preparing data required for modern data solutions and AI workloads.Designing ETLs and ELTs for data transformations.Designing, building, and managing data lake architectures.Working with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.).

Integrating and testing data solutions; creating and documenting tests to meet requirements.Working with Big Data environments; managing data cloud services, data access, security, and data governance.Analyzing and preparing data for machine learning workloads; monitoring and logging applications and services.What You Will Bring To The TableExperience in Data Engineer / Architect roles with ETL, data preparation & ingestion, data streaming.Experience in cloud environments (AWS) for at least 2 years.Knowledge of Python, R or other data processing tools.Intermediate / Upper English level.Experience with Apache Spark.Experience using AWS Data services : S3, AWS Glue, Athena, SageMaker, etc.Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).

Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

LocationArgentina (any part of the country is great for us!).
