This position will support the maintenance and reliability strategy by administering and optimizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), and by developing and implementing preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans. It will involve maintenance data analysis, reliability planning, and active participation in continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and optimize the CMMS, ensuring reliable and structured data aligned with asset management and RCM philosophy.
- Develop and review preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance plans.
- Conduct criticality analyses, failure mode assessments, and reliability strategy reviews.
- Prepare maintenance performance reports and reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, availability, etc.).
- Support CMMS / ERP (IFS or similar) data migration and integration.
- Facilitate optimization workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Train operational teams in CMMS usage and reliability best practices.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase asset availability.
- Provide recommendations for asset replacement based on condition and performance data.
Requirements
Education :
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related fields).Active CREA (Engineering Council registration) is mandatory.Experience :
Minimum of 5 years' experience in maintenance / reliability with a focus on CMMS.Previous experience in Oil & Gas environments, preferably on FPSOs.Knowledge and Skills :
Proficiency in reliability methodologies (RCM, TPM, CBM, FMEA).Strong analytical skills, strategic mindset, and results-oriented.Intermediate to advanced English; fluency in Portuguese.
