This includes overseeing resources, ensuring timely project delivery, and managing project finances throughout the entire development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities : Manage all aspects of a project, including planning, organization, and implementation of project activities, ensuring projects are executed in line with scope, budget, schedule, and quality standardsProvide overall project communication to stakeholders and meet project requirements and stakeholder expectationsServes as primary point of contact with the customer of the project and keeps customers apprised of project progressManage and oversee all project activities, such as issue tracking and risk mitigation, facilitating project team meetings and preparing / delivering status reportsWork closely with cross-functional departments (Deployment, Engineering Design, Installation, and Field Service) to ensure successful execution of projectsMaintain good communication correspondence with customers and establish working relationshipsAssemble appropriate teams to meet and exceed project expectationsDirect and control work performed in the framework of project, including monitoring the critical path and implementing corrective actionsCoordinate and perform review of project deliverables, software and hardware, and report on project performanceManage financial schedule performance of assigned projectsMaintain and keep scheduling of assigned projects and communicate schedule changes as necessaryManage full lifecycle of project and ensure each aspect of the project is completedProcure equipment and materials necessary to execute on projectsDevelop subcontractors' scopes of work, execute subcontracts, and manage subcontractors as may be necessaryCoordinate with Sales and Account Managers to further sales opportunitiesParticipate in negotiation and administration of contractsRequired Skills : 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager in a technical or engineering environment with a focus on delivering projects to external customersB.S.
Degree and / or 5+ Years as a Project Manager in an ITS environmentPMP certification or equivalent preferredExperience in transit industryStrong computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ability to learn new software programsStrong team building and leadership skills, ability to lead teamsStrong organizational skillsStrong problem-solving skillsStrong analytical skillsStrong time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong verbal and written communications, presentation, and persuasive skillsStrong interpersonal skillsStrong negotiation and influence skills
