The Technical Consultant is expected to utilize ABAP development knowledge towards enhancement developments and configuration of Sovos products during implementations.

A successful candidate for this position is expected to work as part of the Sovos Professional Services team and implement Sovos products to heterogeneous customer landscapes comprising of SAP that require complex integrations.

The Technical Consultant is also expected to utilize extensive Sovos product knowledge and accumulated SAP expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting during solution implementation, testing and post go live stabilization phases of a project.

As a project team member, the Technical Consultant contributes to all project phases including the transition of implementations to Production Support which requires great documentation skills for a successful hand over.More specifically : Configure Sovos products on customer SAP systemsMake custom developments for product adaptation conforming with the identified requirements during the project analysis phaseUtilize extensive product knowledge and standard SAP skills in problem solving during implementationUtilize accumulated experience to perform system integration configuration and troubleshooting during implementationsCollaborate efficiently with customers and Sovos' global teams across different geolocations towards successful product implementationsLead technical discussions both internally and with the customer as neededWork on multiple, complex implementation projects concurrentlyDemonstrate excellent self-learning capabilities and the ability to cope with Sovos rapid expansion approach, moving into new countries with the introduction of new products to support evolving legislations and tax lawsEnhance knowledge and skills relating to new / existing / future products and rollouts as well as emerging technologies to increase technical proficiencyEnsure that client implementations meet quality and scope expectationsMaintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to actionParticipate in project teams' and product committees' sessions on demandDemonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and commitment to personal development and learningWhat We Need From You : Minimum 3-5 years of experience on SAP ABAPBackground working in a software or professional services company; with e-transformation products (Brasil e-transformation) is a big plusBasic understanding of SAP FI, SD and MM modulesGood level of English (reading, speaking, and writing)Good analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal / written communication skills and tasks coordination abilityNo restriction for domestic / international travelAbility to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects; on-time and within budgetEssential Job Functions : Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues, and clients.Comprehend and communicate complex concepts.Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems.Leverage technology (laptop, cloud computing, smartphones) to fulfill work requirements.Quickly adapt to new tax laws and self-train to implement new products.What Does Sovos Offer You?
