Senior Director, Analytics – Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of the business and fraud analytics strategy in alignment with company goals and product roadmaps.

Partner closely with product, engineering, design, and executive leadership to define key metrics and ensure data informs decisions at all stages.

Support resource allocation, business case building and prioritization of new initiatives leveraging a wide variety of internal data sources and market intelligence.

Develop tailored A / B testing frameworks and experimentation strategies that inform product decisions from initial concept through launch, enabling data-backed iteration and optimization across the product lifecycle. Guide the development and maintenance of scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable self-service analytics and real-time decision-making.

Translate complex data into compelling stories and insights that drive action for stakeholders from multiple functions and across all parts of the product lifecycle.

Foster a culture of hypothesis testing and data-driven thinking across the organization and promote best practices in experimentation, metric design, and user behavior analysis.

Ensure data integrity, governance, and privacy standards are upheld in all analytics work.

Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in analytics workflows.

Stay current with analytics tools, industry trends, and emerging technologies that could enhance the organization’s analytical capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and / or experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in business analytics, management, marketing or related fields.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in product or fraud analytics, data science, or business intelligence.

5 years' experience in leadership.

Strong written and verbal communication – able to clearly present to Functional Business Leads, Internal Leadership and External Stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization; must be able to clearly articulate technical ideas to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing.

Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutions.

Ability to multi-task and adapt to rapid change, manage multiple projects and changing priorities to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated success or ability to retain highly engaged, high-performing teams.

Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of the ecommerce, fraud, and digital payments landscape.

Demonstrated leadership and initiative regarding process redesign and / or analytics transformation.

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or related field.

Physical Requirements

Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and / or external customers.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay scale for this position in :

Phoenix, AZ / Chicago, IL in USD per year is : $183,000 - $229,000.

New York, NY / San Francisco, CA in USD per year is : $220,000 - $274,000.

Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
