You will manage our backend services and architecture supporting all product functionalities, considering the big picture and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize business impact.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, deploy, and maintain large-scale web applicationsDefine backend architecture and select appropriate technologies for a product areaEnhance performance, reliability, scalability, and security of backend systemsParticipate in transitioning monolithic codebases to microservice architecturesAddress technical challenges in logistics with innovative solutionsQualificationsB.S.

in Computer Science or related field8+ years of industry experienceExperience with backend technologiesSkills in analyzing and improving system efficiency, scalability, and stabilityKnowledge of service-oriented architecture, REST APIs, unit testing, and system designUnderstanding of modern web stack and architecture (HTTP, REST)Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., Postgres, Redis, Kafka, Spark, S3)Nice to HavesExperience building large-scale, real-time applicationsProficiency in Java / KotlinContributions to open source projectsNote : Applicants for NYC or remote jobs associated with NYC offices will undergo Covey assessments as part of the hiring process.
