We are a team-based culture and thus we look for people that operate well in this environment, are intellectually curious and are adaptive, ensuring their contribution fits within the evolving themes and dynamics of our projects.ResponsibilitiesReport directly to a LA M&M Manager and be accountable for developing and leading a LA Metals and Mining Industry project team, with a strong focus on project management and delivery.Collaborate with the global Metals and Mining Industry Team to contribute to thought leadership, offerings, and methodologies, bringing global best practices to the LA market and clientsWork in consulting business assessment and implementation engagements.Act as a trusted advisor to senior client executives, maintaining and expanding relationships in alignment with the account teamParticipate in and contribute to internal and external industry networks with the aim of developing new business.We are looking for someone who : Is excited about making a tangible difference for our clientsHas a passion for solving challenging issues and making a measurable impactIs a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentIs a team player, collaborative, and capable of leading diverse teamsThrives in complexity, is a critical thinker, and possesses intellectual curiosity, with flexibility to analyze and adapt to various situationsIs a great listener, coach, and trusted advisor with the ability to understand client business context and support the sustainability transformation journeyCan work on the ground with front-line workers and senior client executivesWould be able to travel and spend time in client locationsJob RequirementsQualifications : Experience working in a management consulting firm and / or hands-on experience in the Metals and Mining industryDemonstrated knowledge of relevant industry solutions and best practices in operational risk, operational excellence, and sustainability practice linesMore than 4 years of experience in delivering growth and key services in transforming companies in the Metals and Mining IndustryStrong communication skills at the manager level, with the ability to effectively drive business development, solution development, and high-quality delivery of key servicesProven experience in managing, leading, and developing a teamAn entrepreneurial spirit, results-focused, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced, rapidly growing consulting environmentWorking Experience : Technical knowledge and experience in supporting clients on transformational journeys, including strategy development, operational roadmaps, integration into business units and functions, and support in implementationStrong understanding of and familiarity with dss+ methodologies would be a plusA proven track record in management consulting and individual business development successKnowledge and experience in the Metals and Mining IndustrySound technical and business / commercial acumenExpertise : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related fieldsThe ideal candidate will have strong consulting experienceMore than 4 years of professional experience in management consultingExceptional interpersonal skills and a team-working attitude to collaborate within fast-paced, multi-cultural, and multi-disciplinary teamsFluency in both written and spoken English; Spanish language will be a plus
