Senior Underwriter Energy Property

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is seeking a Senior Underwriter Energy Property to develop the Power & Utilities, Oil and Gas Downstream and Midstream, Petrochemicals, and Mining portfolios within Brazil.

About the Role :

This role involves underwriting energy accounts, managing broker and client relationships, and engaging with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities include :

• Growing the business and maintaining strong client and broker relationships.
• Analyzing coverage, exposures, wordings, premiums, and insurability of energy risks (oil & gas facilities, petrochemicals, pipelines, mines, power plants).
• Developing strategic relationships with brokers and clients to ensure proper documentation and business growth.
• Coordinating cross-selling opportunities within Corporate Solutions.
• Participating in special projects and contributing to team operations.
• Ensuring thorough documentation and clear communication with clients and brokers.

About the Team :

Our dynamic team of underwriters focuses on Energy Property underwriting in São Paulo, reviewing risks and contacting clients in Energy Onshore, Power and Utilities, and Mining across the Brazilian market.
