We look for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and who share our commitment to helping individuals on their communication journey.PurposeThe Funding Verification Manager reports to the Funding and Benefits Manager and is responsible for overseeing the Funding Verification Specialists and executing processes that result in efficient and effective movement of deals through the Pre-Trial pipeline.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDefines and monitors short-term objectives for the Funding Verification SpecialistsMakes decisions to achieve defined goalsManages the work efforts and productivity of the Funding Verification SpecialistsCreates, implements, and evaluates processes and procedures; assists with development of cross-team operating proceduresSets and tracks conversion metrics for the Funding Verification Specialists based on company goals / missionTracks trends and issues to identify, resolve and prevent problemsProactively communicates potential and known issuesIdentifies and implements ways to improve speed and conversion of intakesIdentifies potential bottlenecks within sales pipeline and communicates effectively with other managersHires, trains, motivates and helps develop ongoing professional development opportunities for Funding Verification SpecialistsMonitors and ensures balanced workloads of the team; anticipates staffing needs proactivelyProvides coaching, feedback and evaluation to direct reports and peersHolds oneself, direct reports, manager, and peers accountableConducts weekly Traction meetings with direct reports and teamPerforms quarterly and annual reviewsResponsible for setting and communicating employee objectives, managing performance and corrective action, employee development and terminationWorks closely with teams across the pipeline to facilitate best practicesWorks with Marketing to increase quality and volume of leads by providing feedback, problem solving and developing processesEnsures HIPAA compliance within the Funding Verification Specialist team, and coordinates with other teams as neededOther projects and duties as assignedQualificationsKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial requirementsExpertise in the area of health insurance practices including coverage and benefits, determining eligibility, authorization processes, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, and durable medical equipmentExcellent written and verbal communication, listening, customer service and organizational skillsAbility to collect and analyze dataCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively handle multiple and shifting prioritiesProficient with MS Outlook, Word, ExcelHands-on knowledge of HubSpot software products, or similar CRMEducation & ExperienceBachelor's Degree, preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience5 years' experience in a healthcare setting or healthcare industryExperience in DME / Home Medical Equipment, strongly preferred1 – 2 years supervisory experience, strongly preferredExperience working with CRMs such as HubSpot to analyze, pull reports and identify trends, issues, and opportunitiesWork Environment & TravelWork Environment The incumbent works remotely from their home and is expected to maintain a safe, productive work environment with secure internet access.

The starting salary range for this position is $59,400 and $63,000 per year.
Placement in the starting pay is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
