Key Responsibilities :
ꔷ Market Leadership & Strategy
Own and drive Alibaba.com’s growth strategy in Brazil across supplier acquisition, activation, and export readiness. Analyze local market trends, competitor dynamics, and policy changes to inform business decisions.
ꔷ Team & Organizational Leadership
Build and lead high-performing local teams across business development, marketing, customer success, and operations. Establish a strong performance culture and ensure alignment with Alibaba’s global goals and values.
ꔷ Business Development & Partnerships
Identify and develop key industry verticals and top-tier Brazilian exporters (SMEs and large manufacturers). Forge partnerships with industry associations, export agencies, and logistics / fintech partners to build a strong ecosystem.
ꔷ P&L & Performance Management
Own Brazil’s P&L responsibility, including growth targets, sales metrics, user acquisition, and retention KPIs. Implement data-driven management practices to track performance and optimize ROI.
ꔷ Cross-functional Collaboration
Act as the bridge between Brazil and HQ teams in China and other regions, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Provide market insights and feedback to help shape product localization and platform optimization.
Qualifications :
ꔷ 7+ years of progressive experience in e-commerce industry, or digital B2B trade.
ꔷ Proven track record in leading teams and driving business growth in Brazil.
ꔷ Strong understanding of the Brazilian export ecosystem, cross-border trade, and digital transformation.
ꔷ Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinker, and execution-oriented.
ꔷ Fluent in English and Mandarin (Portuguese is a plus).
ꔷ Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Business, International Trade, or related field is preferred.
