This role is highly influential and demanding — ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses deep technical expertise, and desires direct impact on product development and company trajectory.You will collaborate closely with the executive team to scale our technology, expand our team, and help define the next chapter of our platform.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic architecture for critical systems with significant cross-functional impact.Drive technical vision and establish engineering standards for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.Collaborate with product, design, and business teams to shape product direction.Apply software and systems engineering principles to drive revenue growth and cost reduction, prioritizing initiatives based on business value.Mentor senior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, design sessions, and coaching.Lead technical evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies that create meaningful leverage.Contribute to brainstorming new initiatives with the executive team from a technical perspective.RequirementsAt least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Proven ability to drive complex technical projects from inception to production.Expertise in distributed systems, data platforms, backend APIs, cloud infrastructure.Strong architectural skills and a pragmatic approach to design tradeoffs.Ability to navigate ambiguity and align stakeholders across teams.Empathetic leadership and the ability to build trust among teams.Proficiency in Python, AWS lambda, MongoDB, ML / AI — but more importantly, fluency in core engineering principles.Highly motivated and detail-oriented with a proven track record in fast-paced environments.
