Enterprise Network Engineer
We’re looking for someone who knows their way around large-scale networks, understands complex routing and switching setups, and can walk into a customer conversation with confidence.
What you’ll handle
You will install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and sometimes design network solutions using Cisco routing and switching platforms. The job involves direct customer interaction, so you need to be comfortable explaining your thinking to both engineers and leadership teams.
Must-have skills
Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies : IGP, OSPF, EGP, BGP, STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN
Solid experience with LAN switch technologies including STP, RSTP, VTP, VSS, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN-EVPN
Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms : ISR 800 / 1900 / 2900 / 3900 / 4000 series, ASR 1000, Catalyst 6500, 6800, 4500, 3850
Background in installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and solution design across routers and switches
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain network strategy to customers and internal teams
Comfortable in client-facing situations and capable of driving conversations across cross-functional groups
Nice to have
Experience leading customer workshops, creating HLD and LLD documents
Service Provider domain exposure : XR, ASR9K, MPLS, BGP, BNG, Segment Routing
Familiarity with SDA, SD-WAN, or ACI
Experience with Nexus switches, UCS, or Hyperflex
Network automation skills using Python, Ansible, Go, or Splunk
Education and Certifications
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
CCNA required
CCNP is an advantage
CCIE Enterprise is preferred
