With approximately 65 employees worldwide, they're experiencing exponential growth and are continuing to expand their team.Role OverviewAs a Launch Engineer, you will onboard new merchants, provide best practices support for custom-built solutions, and resolve any technical challenges involving our hiring partner's platform.
You will assist customers in their journey and provide them with the guidance and knowledge that they need to accomplish their strategic goals using our products.
They will look to you for answers on everything from basic technical questions to complex scenarios.Your day-to-day will involve : Taking new merchants live onto the platformBuilding in custom Shopify stores (implementing discounting, subscription options, etc.)Creating customer portals where subscribers can manage their recurring productsCommunicating with clients via email and callsParticipating in daily morning team callsTroubleshooting and solving problemsWorking on projects that range from 1-2 hours for simple implementations to 4-5 hours for more customized environmentsWhat we look for : Experience with Typescript / JavascriptSolid experience with SQL-based databaseLinux / Unix administration skillsExcellent English written and oral communication skillsTechnical degree or equivalent experience1-2 years of front-end web development experienceExperience with Shopify and Shopify's Liquid languageProficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to break down technical explanations to non-technical peopleComfort with a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyNice to have : Familiarity with JSON and object parsing / structuresExperience with data manipulation (working with CSVs)Understanding of JavaScript frameworks and Web3 frameworksExperience building internal toolsExperience with the Shopify subscriptions APIBenefits : 100% remote work environment with flexible hoursUnlimited PTO100% covered health insuranceAll necessary tech equipment providedOpportunity to make a significant impact in a growing company
