We’re currently looking for an
Implementation Engineer
to join our network engineering team supporting a global technology project. In this position, you’ll be responsible for executing and implementing network configurations on
Arista
and
Cisco
devices, based on pre-defined scripts and configurations. You’ll work closely with U.S.-based teams to ensure the successful deployment and support of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is hands-on and ideal for engineers with a strong foundation in
networking ,
Ansible automation , and
Cisco systems , who enjoy problem-solving and ensuring reliable network operations.
Key Responsibilities : Execute existing
Arista configurations
and perform hands-on implementation tasks. Run and monitor
Ansible scripts , identifying and troubleshooting execution issues. Implement configuration changes in line with project governance. Participate in network deployment projects, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to standards. Support and maintain existing routing and switching infrastructure, including
Cisco Nexus
and
Arista CVP
environments. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to coordinate installations and surveys. Troubleshoot connectivity, routing, and switching issues (BGP, EIGRP, ACLs, VLANs, spanning tree, etc.). Provide post-deployment support and perform peer reviews of configuration documentation.
Requirements Extensive knowledge of Cisco IOS Platforms and Cisco Systems products. Experience performing LAN / WAN hardware infrastructure changes Knowledge of ST, SC, and LC fiber optic technologies Knowledge of LAN infrastructure to include Cisco Switches and Routers Knowledge of LAN switch configuration technologies to include VTP, STP, QoS, and Cisco switch stack configurations Knowledge of Routing Protocols and Routing Redistribution In-depth understanding of troubleshooting Cisco router and switch configurations. Ability to interface directly with vendors and local support teams regarding WAN / LAN hardware implementation Ability to self-manage concurrently running projects. Ability to follow Change Management Processes Ability to work during nights, weekends, and during the daytime 5+ years of experience in network implementation and operations (10+ years preferred). Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken). Experience with Arista Devices and WAAS devices is a plus. Availability to work during
U.S. business hours
and occasionally on
weekends
for deployments.
Preferred Certifications CCNA / CCNP
(required or in progress). Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science , or related field (preferred).
