Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of PV Business Development Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth in the solar PV market, with a focus on Brazil. The role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, technical experts, and marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Techincal Consultation
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and challenges;
- Conduct in-depth technical discussions with prospective clients to identify their needs;
- Support the sales teams with projects specification;
- Support the sales teams with customer visits on strategic negotiations.
- Product Demonstration
- Develop and deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to the client's specific requirements;
- Showcase the value proposition of GoodWe's products and solutions through face-to-face or online demonstrations [workshops, trainings, webinars, presentations, etc.;
- Create and design portfolio and product features presentations;
- Handle and participate on exhibitions and PV trade shows.
- Solution Design
- Work closely with the Brazilian and Chinese teams to understand the technical aspects of GoodWe's offerings;
- Design and propose customized solutions that address client needs and align with GoodWe's product capabilities;
- Collect product demands from the Brazilian BIPV market.
- Technical Support
- Provide pre-sales technical support to clients, answering queries and addressing concerns;
- Assist clients in understanding the technical aspects of GoodWe's products and how they can meet their objectives;
- Support the marketing team with content creation and promotions;
- Create SOP documents and videos about product and features.
- Proof of Concept
- Collaborate with clients to develop and execute proof-of-concept projects;
- Ensure successful PoC outcomes that demonstrate the effectiveness and value of GoodWe's solutions.
- Knowledge Transfer
- Train and educate the internal team staff [after sales engineers, marketing teams, sales teams, etc.] on technical aspects of GoodWe's BIPV products;
- Work actively with marketing team to establish a promotion network with 3rd party partners;
- Support the Solution manager on the definition of local portfolio;
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies;
- Collect and sort out product information, solution and customer from competitors;
- Analyze and feedback about standards requirements from local regulations;
- Analyze market demands and propose new products and features;
- Consolidate and share above information internally to minimize information gap.
- Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Photovoltaics, Renewable Energy or other comparable degree;
- Proficiency in English and Spanish.
- At least 3 years of experience in the PV market or construction industry;
- Advanced knowledge of PV panels and PV system design and installation;
- Experience with PV inverters is a plus;
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and PVSyst;
- Excellent command in MS Office and other office tools;
- General knowledge of Electricity, Product, Product Solution and Processes;
- General knowledge of graphic software (Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw);
- Strong teaching and communication skills.
