J ob Title : LATAM Financial Controller
Reports to : Global CFO / CEO
Work Modality : On-site / Hybrid / Remote
Level : Senior Management
Position Objective :
Lead the financial, accounting, and tax management of operations across Latin America, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and financial integrity in all countries within the region.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee budget planning and control across all business units in LATAM.
- Consolidate regional financial statements in compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS).
- Generate financial analyses and strategic reports for regional and global senior management.
- Ensure tax and legal compliance in each country, working closely with external advisors.
- Lead internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections across the region.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls in all operating countries.
- Optimize accounting and financial processes, standardizing operations across LATAM.
- Provide strategic support for expansion, mergers, acquisitions, and business closures.
- Coordinate with regional and global treasury teams to manage cash flow, funding, and currency hedging.
- Develop and lead local finance teams, fostering synergy and operational efficiency.
Requirements :
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.MBA or postgraduate studies in Finance, International Accounting, or Financial Management preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate finance, with at least 3 years in regional leadership roles.Strong knowledge of tax and accounting regulations across LATAM countries.Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and advanced Excel skills.Advanced English (Portuguese is a plus).Ability to lead multicultural teams and operate within matrix organizational structures.What We Offer :
