Join Our Team as Tax Sr Analyst – Brazil (São Paulo) Advanced English

Location : São Paulo, Brazil

Department : Finance LATAM

Reports to : Senior Tax Manager LATAM

Are you a seasoned tax professional ready to lead and make an impact in a global organization? We’re looking for a Tax Sr Analyst to oversee tax compliance and strategic initiatives for our Brazilian entity. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your expertise will shape tax operations and support business growth.

What You’ll Do

As Tax Sr Analyst, you’ll be responsible for :

  • Leading tax compliance for direct and indirect taxes in Brazil.
  • Preparing tax calculations for review by external advisors (EY, Deloitte).
  • Managing deferred tax accounting (IFRS and BRGAAP), including annual and half-year calculations.
  • Overseeing reconciliations for tax GL accounts using SAP and Blackline.
  • Coordinating SPED, municipal obligations (withholding tax), IBGE, and BACEN reporting.
  • Supporting Transfer Pricing processes with external specialists.
  • Advising internal teams on tax treatment for various operations.
  • Staying ahead of regulatory changes, including Brazil’s ongoing Tax Reform.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities during audits.
  • Leading a team of 3 direct reports and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience : Minimum 6 years in Brazilian tax (local & international), tax accounting, and compliance.
  • Education : Degree in Accounting or Tax.
  • Technical Skills : SAP, SPED, HFM (BRACS), Blackline.
  • Tax Expertise : IRPJ, CSLL, ISS, PIS, COFINS, ICMS; knowledge of tax treaties and audit processes.
  • Languages : Advanced English required; Spanish is a plus.
  • Soft Skills : Strong communication, analytical mindset, team leadership, and collaboration.
