Principal Engineer – Guidance & Control (Technical Leader)

Location : On-Site position based in the UAE (Full Relocation Package)A leading defense company based in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an exceptionalPrincipal Engineerto act as theTechnical Leader for Guidance and Control (G&C) systems .

This is a strategic, high-impact and hands-on role with an explicit mandate to establish and lead new G&C capabilities, mentor engineers, and drive the future of guided weapon platforms.The Role : Technical Authority & Capability BuilderAs the Principal Engineer for G&C, you will be the technical backbone of the department, reporting directly to the Department Manager.

Your responsibilities include :

G&C Technical Leadership : Serving as the technical authority over the full G&C lifecycle, includingModeling & Simulation (MIL / SIL / PIL) ,Guidance & Control Algorithms ,Tracking Systems , andEstimation Filters (EKF / KF) .

R&D and Capability Establishment : Leading the investigation ofemerging technologiesand the implementation of futuristic methodologies.

You will be responsible forestablishing new G&C infrastructure, tools, and R&D labs .

Flight Test Oversight : Managing all phases of flight test campaigns, including pre-flight preparation, test execution, and rigorouspost-flight analysis .

Mentorship and Team Building : Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers across all levels (Junior to Senior), helping to cultivate a high-performing team.Requirements for SuccessExperience :

• yearsof experience in the development ofguided weapon systems , missiles, or relevant defense technologies.

Leadership : A minimum of5 years of experience in engineering management and technical leadershiproles, with a proven ability to lead teams and establish new capabilities.

Expertise : Deep knowledge of the entireSystems Engineering Process(qualification, acceptance, flight testing) and a strong background inflight dynamics, embedded systems, and missile control .

Qualifications : A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.Ready for Your Next Career Move?
