Job Description
We are looking for a professional with solid experience in IP networks to work in the implementation and support of IP / MPLS / IPRAN solutions in telecom and service provider projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of routing protocols, transport networks, and last-mile architecture, as well as a proactive profile and the ability to operate in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of IP / MPLS / IPRAN solutions for service provider environments.
Act as a technical focal point in customer engagements, building trusted relationships and ensuring satisfaction with deliverables.
Provide executive-level technical support and escalation management, ensuring complex issues are resolved efficiently. Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., sales, project management, operations) to align technical strategies with business objectives.
Review and validate technical documentation, diagrams, and reports prepared by the team. Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies (e.g., Segment Routing, SRv6, SDN) and recommending their adoption.
Represent the company in strategic discussions with clients and vendors.
Manage resource planning, project priorities, and ensure timely delivery within budget.
Occasionally travel for on-site support, customer meetings, and executive follow-ups.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Networking, or related fields.
Extensive experience with IP networks, including deep knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, LDP, Segment Routing).
Solid understanding of IPRAN architecture, transport networks, and last-mile aggregation.
Familiarity with major vendors’ equipment (ZTE, Huawei, Nokia, Cisco, Juniper).
Proven experience in team management and leadership, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, including managing technical discussions and handling executive stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
Advanced English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
Availability for occasional travel and on-call executive support.
Differentials
Technical certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, or Nokia (e.g., CCNP / CCIE, JNCIP / JNCIE).
Experience working with mobile operators’ IP networks (4G / 5G backhaul, transport, core integration).
Knowledge of optical transport networks and OSS / BSS integration.
Exposure to emerging IP technologies (e.g., SR-TE, SRv6, EVPN).
