Procurement Expert

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Expert to manage purchasing activities, ensuring timely availability of components and materials for storage products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics or IT hardware procurement, focusing on cost optimization and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supplier Management :

Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for components and materials, building and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors to ensure favorable terms.

Generate and process purchase orders according to production schedules and inventory requirements, monitoring order status and coordinating with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to optimize procurement costs, regularly conducting cost analysis and identifying opportunities for savings.

Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, monitoring stock levels and initiating purchases to prevent shortages or excess inventory.

Work with QA department to ensure all purchased materials meet quality standards, managing non-conformance issues with suppliers.

Stay informed about market trends affecting component availability and pricing, anticipating supply chain disruptions and developing contingency plans.

Maintain accurate procurement records and update the ERP system, preparing regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, with 3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in electronics or IT hardware industry. Knowledge of electronic components and storage products is preferred, as well as experience with ERP systems and procurement software.

The successful candidate will possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, be detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities, and have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
