About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Architect to join our international studio, part of a Louisiana-based architecture firm delivering landmark projects around the globe. This is a full-time opportunity for an architect with strong creative vision, technical excellence, and a portfolio that demonstrates high design quality.
The ideal candidate has 12+ years (required) of professional architectural experience, with proven leadership on international-scale projects. We are especially interested in individuals who have worked for prestigious firms or have experience contributing to award-winning, design-forward projects.
Experience in the hospitality or themed entertainment markets is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of major international projects from concept through delivery
- Ensure alignment of design excellence with client goals, project vision, and brand identity
- Guide and mentor design teams, fostering collaboration across disciplines (engineering, interiors, landscape, etc.)
- Oversee project documentation, presentations, and client communications
- Manage design reviews, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation
- Contribute to the studio’s international portfolio with bold, design-driven solutions
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years of professional architectural experienceBackground with prestigious international architecture firms (e.g., Foster + Partners, SOM, Zaha Hadid, Gensler, etc.) strongly preferredDemonstrated hospitality and / or tourism market experience (hotels, resorts, cultural destinations, or mixed-use developments)Strong design leadership skills with a portfolio that reflects high-concept, innovative architectureProficiency in design and visualization tools (Revit)Ability to manage teams and coordinate with consultants across different geographiesExcellent communication skills in EnglishWhy Join Us
