You will also know when to build versus buy, ensuring accelerated value delivery.The Staff Software Engineer is, above all, a pragmatic problem-solver, technical leader, and a core contributor to the success of all products developed by Shape Digital.Responsibilities : Explore and identify opportunities to improve and evolve the company's software architecture and platform foundations.Write and guide others to write high-quality, scalable, secure, and maintainable code following best practices.Partner with product managers, designers, and domain experts to translate business needs into technical solutions.Lead the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and reliability requirements.Manage the technical backlog, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term architectural evolution.Mentor senior engineers and influence across multiple teams, driving adoption of engineering excellence and best practices.Ensure software systems follow rigorous quality standards, including testing, monitoring, and documentation.Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and architectural paradigms, applying them when they create business value.Contribute to technical strategy, architectural decision-making, and long-term technology vision.Requirements : A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Go, or similar).
Proven experience in designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed, or mission-critical systems.Solid understanding of software architecture, system design, and design patterns.Experience with CI / CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery methodologies.Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud-native architectures.Advanced / Fluent English.Differentials : Knowledge of industrial or enterprise-scale systems.Experience with Cloud platforms : Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, observability stacks, and security best practices.Contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or patents.Benefits : PPR (Profit Sharing) : Possibility of extra compensation based on the company's results, according to your performance.Health and Dental Plan : To ensure your care and well-being!
