We are looking for a remote, full-time Senior Accountant with 4+ years of accounting experience that includes GAAP accounting to join our U.S. client's finance and accounting organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and integrity of the company's financial operations. Your duties will span A / R, A / P, GL, Sales Tax, Payroll, and financial statement generation. You'll have the opportunity to grow, incorporating cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities within a fast-growing, high-tech oil and gas software provider. Responsibilities
Conduct and manage accounting functions for our growing software firm
Journal entries, accruals, A / R, A / P, and account reconciliations
Sales tax and payroll preparation
Financial and SOC audit assistance
Financial statement generation
Cash management, budgeting, and forecasting activities
Required Experience
Excellent English verbal and written skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of accounting experience
GAAP proficiency
Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other Microsoft Office Suite products
Excellent organizational skills
Proficiency operating within accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar)
A drive to continue learning, specifically about the energy business and the client's software
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and problem-solve effectively
Responsible individual with a strong work ethic and analytical mind to play a key administrative role
Self-starter and resourceful
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Proven experience working effectively in a vibrant, dynamic startup environment
Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent
Desired Experience
CPA or progress toward CPA (or equivalent certification)
Experience in a SaaS, technology, or software company
