ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Architecture Lead to drive the design and execution of brand experiences, pop-ups, permanent retail spaces, and large-scale installations. This role merges creative vision with technical expertise, bridging design, production, and fabrication to deliver exceptional innovative environments. You'll lead projects from concept through construction, providing strategic direction, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, and serving as the key liaison between creative leadership, production, and fabrication partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Drive design development from initial concept through detailed construction documentation
- Establish and maintain design standards, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional outcomes
- Collaborate with producers and project managers to maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Partner with creative directors to understand design intent and translate it into clear architectural strategies
- Generate daily creative briefs to guide the architecture design team on project direction and next steps
- Provide real-time feedback, guidance, and mentorship to junior architectural designers throughout the design process
- Communicate and present complex design ideas clearly to both creative and technical stakeholders
- Develop precise schematic drawing packages and 3D models in Rhinoceros for vendor and fabricator coordination
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for domestic and international markets
- Collaborate directly with engineers, fabricators, and contractors to identify optimal solutions for project execution
- Review and approve shop drawings and fabrication details prior to production
- Research, review, and specify appropriate materials and finishes
- Provide construction oversight to ensure design intent is maintained throughout on-site execution
REQUIREMENTS
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture8+ years of professional experience in architecture, with proven leadership in design-driven projectsExperience with retail, set design, exhibitions, or experiential installationsStrong understanding of materials, construction methods, and fabrication processesExceptional attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and specificationsExcellent leadership, organizational, and communication skillsPortfolio demonstrating design excellence and ability to work on projects at different scalesAbility to manage fast-paced projects and adapt quickly to shifting prioritiesAbility to work effectively independently and as part of a teamProfessional knowledge and use of Rhinoceros is mandatoryProficient in Google Docs suite (Docs, Slides, Spreadsheet)Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)Ability to quickly learn Cinema 4D and Octane rendering softwareABOUT DE-YAN
