Senior Paralegal Iv - Business Immigration

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Immigration Paralegal to join our Immigrant Visa (IV) Team.

In this role, you will take ownership of complex employment-based permanent residency cases (EB-2 / EB-3), managing filings across PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status (AOS), and Consular Processing.

You will work directly with attorneys to prepare, review, and file cases while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.As a senior team member, you will also contribute to mentoring junior paralegals, improving workflows, and ensuring best practices are followed.This position is remote-friendly (or hybrid for Austin-based candidates).

Draft and file Adjustment of Status (I-485) applications and related forms (I-131, I-765).

Handle Consular Processing cases, including DS-260 preparation, coordinating with NVC, and compiling required supporting documents.Collaborate with attorneys on RFE and audit responses, ensuring compliance with USCIS and DOL requirements.Communicate directly with clients to gather documents, provide updates, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.Utilize case management tools to track progress and meet deadlines.Train and mentor junior staff as needed and contribute to SOP and process improvements.Qualifications5+ years of paralegal experience in business immigration law (required).

Proven EB-2 / EB-3 and PERM case experience.Demonstrated success in preparing I-140 and I-485 filings.Consular Processing experience (non-negotiable) - must have handled the full lifecycle of employment-based immigrant visa consular processing.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume caseloads.Proficient in case management systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.What We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will : Show ownership of the full PERM lifecycle and related filings.Demonstrate accuracy, compliance, and attention to detail in case preparation.Have experience interfacing with employers, beneficiaries, and consulates / NVC, providing timely case updates.Exhibit strong time management skills, with strategies for prioritizing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume practice and be comfortable juggling multiple matters at once.
