In this role, you'll work on end-to-end development of scalable web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions for one of our clients.Engagement DetailsContract Type : This is a contractor position for temporary, project-based engagements.Compensation : Payment is made in USD.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Web / Mobile applicationsDevelop and maintain fullstack solutions using Javascript (React.Js and NodeJS)Make sure the application has a great user experienceAssist in the creation and implement mockupsBuild docker images that can run on top of AWS or other PaaSModel databases using MySQL, Postgres, DynamoDB and othersWriting automated tests for web components and APIsWrite beautiful, readable, and scalable codeReview the code of other developersInteract with other teams and professionals, including other developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholdersMake sure the application solves real-world problemsUnderstand the needs of our partners and come up with solutions for their problemsParticipate in Sprint Plannings and daily stand-up meetingsBuild estimates and plan roadmapsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field5+ years of experience with JavaScript, React (mainly) and Node.jsExperience building RESTful backend applicationsExperience with React.js and / or other Single Page Application (SPA) librariesExperience with Git and version control best practicesExperience with deployment processes using Docker, CircleCI, AWS, and HerokuExperience working with both relational and non-relational databasesExperience with AWS Serverless architecture, including Lambda and API GatewayComfortable working in UNIX-based systems and using the terminalAdvanced English level (at least)!
