Cloud Finops Architect, Virtasant (Remote) - $200,000 / Year Usd

We're seeking a Cloud FinOps Architect to join Virtasant, a global, remote-first consultancy that delivers tangible outcomes.

As an Azure architect, you will treat cloud like an engineering problem, not a purchasing decision.

You will lead a C-suite workshop, review target-state designs, and ship execution-ready roadmaps.You will operate with high autonomy alongside a lean group of architects and FinOps specialists to build cost optimization plans, end-to-end solution designs, and migration strategies.

You will work on technical architecture and cloud roadmaps, cost optimization plans, and client workshops and presentations.ResponsibilitiesTechnical Architecture and Cloud Roadmaps : Repeatable strategic deliverables that guide client infrastructure decisions in Azure.Cost Optimization Plans : FinOps-focused recommendations for rightsizing, budgeting, forecasting, and governance to reduce spend and improve efficiency.End-to-End Solution Designs and Migration Strategies : Complete designs and phased migration plans for clients moving to or optimizing within Azure.Client Workshops, Presentations, and Proposals : External-facing sessions and deliverables to align stakeholders, build trust, and drive project buy-in.RequirementsAt least 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud architecture and servicesDemonstrated track record in FinOps and cloud cost optimizationPrior experience in client-facing consulting rolesVirtasant is a leading provider of outcome-based solutions in the cloud, leveraging a combination of proprietary automation, proven methods, and deep cloud expertise to help companies thrive in the cloud.

This is a full-time, long-term position with a compensation level of $100 USD / hour, which equates to $200,000 USD / year.
