Your impact
We are seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to join our development teams and ensure quality delivery across our software applications.
This role requires expertise in both traditional and Agile testing methodologies, with a focus on working within cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
Execute manual testing based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements
Identify and recommend test cases suitable for automation and collaborate with development teams on automation strategy
Support sprint planning by providing testing effort estimates and quality risk assessments
Apply various testing techniques that may include behavior-driven testing, test driven development, exploratory testing, and regression testing
Assist development teams with test automation activities and CI / CD pipeline integration
Your experience and qualifications
Intermediate seniority level of software testing experience with exposure to both traditional and Agile methodologies
Experience working in Scrum or other Agile frameworks
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and test case design
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
Understanding of CI / CD pipelines and API testing
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative development cycles
Fluency in English (written and verbal communication)
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks
Knowledge of performance testing and security testing
ISTQB certifications or other testing credentials
Work as an integral member of cross-functional Agile teams alongside developers and product owners
Participate in Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to define testable acceptance criteria and user stories
Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to team members and stakeholder
