The Johnson and Johnson Innovative Medicine Latam is currently seeking a Platform Owner to join our team.
The Platform Owner is responsible for own vision and prioritization of new platform level features and / or enhancements to a platform and enable platform and product squads being accountable for value delivery and value realization at the platform squad level
Responsibilities :
Platform Ownership & Strategy
Define and own the platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Act as the primary point of accountability for platform health, scalability, and reliability.
Drive the adoption of modern integration patterns and microservices architecture.
Integration & Microservices Engineering
Oversee the design, build, and maintenance of API-led integrations across internal and external systems.
Lead the modernization of services into a containerized, event-driven, microservices ecosystem.
Ensure integration layers follow best practices for security, maintainability, and compliance.
Product Management & Stakeholder Engagement
Translate business needs into technical requirements and shape features accordingly.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and developers to deliver cohesive cross-platform solutions.
Manage backlog prioritization for platform-related projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Software engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
Advanced English Level is required
o Proven experience in API management platforms, integration frameworks (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee, Kafka, Azure Integration Services).
Expertise in microservices patterns, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI / CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of REST and event-driven architectures.
Track record in product management or platform management-building roadmaps, gathering requirements, and prioritizing feature delivery.
Solid understanding of cloud-native platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
Extensive experience in Agile Development is required, including team creation, leadership, platform standards, governance processes, and change management.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong Technical skills in Data Engineering, Intelligent Automation and GenAI. Foundational skills in Full Stack Development and Salesforce is a plus.
Contributes with ideas that challenge thinking and standardize processes
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
This position is in São Paulo, SP - Brazil, up to 25% of domestic travel is required.
