Job DescriptionWe are a regional B2B information systems consultancy firm delivering high-value engagements to our customers in Energy, Industrial Services, Manufacturing and other industries. We are hiring a marketing professional to drive qualified pipeline growth, strengthen our market positioning, and support long-cycle enterprise sales.
This role is closely aligned with leadership and sales. Success is measured by meetings, opportunities, and revenue influence—not vanity metrics.
Core Responsibilities
1. Positioning & Messaging
- Define and maintain clear positioning around:
- Core consulting offerings
- Differentiators (industry expertise, delivery model, outcomes)
- Business impact (cost reduction, risk mitigation, scalability)
- Translate technical services into business value language
- Own messaging across:
- Website
- Sales decks
- Proposals and case studies
- Outreach and campaigns
2. Content & Thought Leadership
- Manage LinkedIn presence (company + leadership)
- Develop high-credibility content such as:
- Case studies
- Whitepapers
- Industry insights
- Support company visibility on LinkedIn and in local forums
- Create periodic newsletters with relevant content
- Ensure content supports sales conversations, not just traffic
3. Local Market & Relationship Marketing
- Strengthen presence in the local business and technology ecosystem
- Support:
- Strategic partnerships (Software companies, Consulting Partners, Ex-Employees, Current and Legacy Clients)
- Local executive events, round tables, and speaking opportunities
- Build a systematic referral and testimonial engine
4. Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Build and manage marketing programs that generate qualified enterprise leads
- Support long sales cycles through:
- Account-based marketing (ABM)
- Targeted outreach to specific companies and roles
- Nurture campaigns aligned to sales stages
- Coordinate closely with sales leadership on:
- Target accounts
- Buying committees
- Deal progression
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 5+ years of marketing experience (IT consulting or technology services preferred)
- Experience of working closely with sales personnel and management
- Experience supporting complex, high-value sales ($100k+ deals)
- Strong English writing and messaging skills is paramount
- Experience writing white papers and technical marketing content
- Comfortable owning projects end-to-end
- Event or field marketing experience
- Proposal or RFP support experience
- Familiarity with the Oil & Gas industry (a plus)
- Ability to work independently
- Familiarity with:
- Local SEO / Google Business Profile
- LinkedIn for B2B
- Email outreach tools
- Basic CRM system (Zoho preferred, but not required)
