Our Senior Counsel will be responsible for leading client correspondence and managing client relationships.

This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial attorney who possesses strong leadership and communication skills and who thrives in a dynamic environment.

The Senior Counsel will help shape our legal services, counseling our clients with clear and concise contract drafting, communicating with clients' internal and external stakeholders, leading complex commercial negotiations, and providing counsel on general risk management.

This role is for someone who is committed to offering best-in-class legal services and has a desire to be a proactive strategic partner.Responsibilities

Lead the negotiation of SaaS agreements for clients negotiating with Fortune 500 customers, and identify, coordinate and resolve issues for subject matter expert review

Support clients' business units with structuring and negotiating a variety of transactions relating to product commercialization and corporate development, including early-stage investments, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions

Provide general counsel and partner with third party subject matter experts to efficiently lead a comprehensive legal strategy

Assist with corporate governance processes including managing internal corporate actions, charters, bylaws, and board meeting materials

Collaborate with the Managing Counsel on business development activities to drive firm growth

Operate with limited supervision, demonstrate sound judgment and an ability to independently and effectively manage priorities, and proactively identify when to escalate issues with internal and client stakeholdersQualifications

JD from a top tier law school and excellent academic credentials

Admission to the state bar where the candidate resides

6+ years of experience at a law firm (AmLaw 100 preferred), in-house, or preferably both

Ability to deliver polished work product and effectively collaborate with clients and negotiate with third parties

Strong drafting skills and the ability to identify, incorporate and improve client-preferred terms

Commitment to integrity, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead with empathy

Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple matters simultaneously
