As a Technical Product Manager, you will work on the Product Management team and be responsible for driving the development and delivery of software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, QA, and Dev Ops to project management the delivery of product initiatives. You will work with the rest of the product management team to ensure that products meet market needs and align with business goals. You will help shape the product definition, prioritise features, and manage the product backlog to ensure timely and successful product releases.
Responsibilities
- Work with small multi-disciplinary teams. Youll partner closely with UX, engineering, product, and QA as part of an agile team to deliver new software capabilities for users.
- Collaborate with senior product management to translate high-level goals and strategies into actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Create, maintain, and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify user stories, and ensure alignment with overall product objectives.
- Participate in sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings to ensure successful sprint execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for the development team, providing clarifications and making timely decisions to address any blockers.
- Engage with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and internal teams, to gather feedback and ensure their needs are met.
- Communicate product updates, timelines, and changes effectively to all relevant parties.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure that product features meet quality standards.
- Review and validate deliverables to ensure they meet user requirements and business objectives.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.2-5 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role in a software development environmentExperience in or with the Architecture, Engineer, and Construction (AEC) industry either as a participant or within software is a plusProven experience in managing product backlogs, project management, working with agile development teams, and delivering software productsDetail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.Skills
Strong understanding of agile methodologies (i.e. Scrum)Experience with product management tools (i.e., JIRA, Pendo, Figma)Nice to have
Experience with the AEC Sector.
