Beyond writing pipelines, you'll be deeply invested in understanding how data drives our business and empowers our teams, ensuring that every solution you build delivers clarity and impact.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to design scalable, reliable, and high-quality data systems that become the foundation for insights and decision-making across Handoff.What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintainscalable ETL / ELT pipelinesusingAirflow.
• Developdata modelsacross the Medallion Architecture layers to support analytics and reporting.
• OptimizeSQL queriesfor large datasets inAWS Athenaand other relational systems.
• Build and maintaindashboards and BI workflowsusingMetabase.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to definestartup metricsand KPIs.
• Ensuredata quality, governance, and reproducibilityacross the data warehouse / lake.
• Establish best practices for data engineering and analytics.About You
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• StrongSQL expertisewith experience tuning queries and designing efficient schemas.
• Hands-on experience withAirflowfor workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity withAWS services, especially Athena, S3 and Glue.
• Experience buildinganalytics dashboardswith Metabase or similar BI tools.
• Understanding ofMedallion Architectureand layered data pipelines.
• Strong understanding ofstartup / product metricsand how to translate them into analytics workflows.
• Proficiency inPythonfor data engineering and ETL tasks.
