Data Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Data Engineer to join a Workforce Productivity and Data Engineering team and lead initiatives across Microsoft Azure, Fabric, and Databricks platforms onsite in Costa Rica. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks. You will develop ETL / ELT processes using tools like SSIS, Azure Synapse Pipelines, and SQL. And you will help implement lakehouse and warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric to support analytics and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, pipeline development, and enterprise data integration, with bonus experience in Oracle ERP R12 environments.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related field.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Databricks for data ingestion, transformation, and AI / ML workloads
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting platforms.
