ITTConnect is seeking a Tableau Server Administrator to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the retail / food services / technology area.

Job location : Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil .

Responsibilities :

  • Ability to setup and configure Tableau servers on various on prem and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with server upgrades and parameter changes
  • Proficiency in connecting Tableau to different data sources and extract data from these sources
  • Manage user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments
  • Troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and optimizing dashboards

Requirements :

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Tableau Servers
  • Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, including workbooks, data sources, extract refresh schedules, and server maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Tableau Server features, including scheduling, content management, and server configuration.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting for automating administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing data security measures in Tableau.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is a plus but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explain and understand problems effectively
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
  • Time zone : Pacific Time Zone preferred, but flexibility is possible
