Head of Compliance

This role is charged with the responsibility of providing practical and commercially-focused compliance advice in regard to the Latin American operations, while managing relevant licence applications and ensuring that business conducts activities in a way which is compliant with all relevant license requirements. This includes acting as a liaison between the business and relevant regulators.

Responsibilities :

• Managing all licence applications and ensuring ongoing compliance of relevant licences held by the company.
• Advising and counselling the organisation on a wide range of compliance issues and regulatory matters associated with the commercial operations, with an emphasis on structuring and implementation of complex business projects; More generally, you will be responsible for identifying compliance issues, providing analysis of business / operational / compliance risks and creating and implementing solutions structured to achieve business objectives efficiently
• Coordinating with other members of the Legal and Compliance team on various aspects of legal and compliance matters arising.
• Managing regulatory audits and inspections that may arise from time to time
• Managing relationships with legal counsels as required
• Keeping abreast of developments in approaches to regulation
