Role Description

This is a flexible full-time hybrid role based in Florianópolis, SC, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time. This is of course unless you're interested in solely making a capital investment which maybe valid for consideration as well.

As an Investor in Residence at Founder Haus, you will produce, coordinate & execute programs and events around providing strategic guidance to startup founders, evaluate investment opportunities, and support portfolio companies in achieving growth milestones. You will collaborate with entrepreneurs, mentors, and other stakeholders to drive innovation, conduct market research, and facilitate fundraising strategies. Additionally, you will contribute to our community initiatives while sharing your expertise in investment and startup ecosystems. Purely capital investments are also welcome for consideration.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, and Valuation

Experience with Investing, Fundraising, Capital Structuring, and Financial Modelling

Keen understanding of Startup Ecosystems, Business Development, and Strategy

Exceptional skills in Communication, Networking, and Building Relationships

Familiarity with Technology Trends and Sustainability-driven ventures

Ability to inspire, mentor, and guide startup teams effectively

MUST be AI & Crypto / Blockchain proficient

MUST have startup / business experience at the FOUNDING and / or C-levels

MUST be a Startup Investor with at least some portfolio companies to speak of

Proficiency in Portuguese and English is indispensable

Compensation will be heavily equity (or equivalent) based and lightly cash based - those purely seeking salaries NEED NOT APPLY
