The AWS ProServe team seeks a skilled Data Architect to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet customers' technical requirements and business objectives.
You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDesigning and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needsProviding technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project deliveryCollaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategiesActing as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologiesSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifactsAbout the TeamThe AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud.
We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, delivering offerings to help customers achieve outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption and focused guidance through global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries.Basic Qualifications3+ years of database experience (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis)3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation, preferably with AWS3+ years of experience delivering cloud projects or cloud-based solutionsAbility to communicate effectively in English in technical and business settingsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fieldPreferred Qualifications3+ years of external or internal customer-facing, complex and large-scale project management experienceKnowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, and S3Experience scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby)Experience with cloud-related technology and designing or optimizing cloud solutions for enterprise customersExperience managing and coordinating projects in a fast-paced environmentAWS Professional level certification or Associate's degree or aboveOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
