This could include conducting casualty investigations and inspecting machinery failures for P&I Clubs and Underwriters.
The job holder will be expected to conduct investigations onboard vessels and at our clients' sites across Brazil.What will you be doing?
Attend vessels, shipyards, ports, and offshore units to investigate casualties, incidents, and machinery failures.Conduct root cause analysis of machinery breakdowns and other technical failures.Prepare clear, concise focused survey reports for insurers (e.g, P&I and H&M) and other clients.Provide expert advice and technical opinions on liability, repair, and operational issues.Liaise with shipowners, operators, repair facilities, class societies, and underwriters during investigations.Support loss prevention activities such as condition surveys and risk assessments when required.Other duties as assigned.What are we looking for?
