Together, we're building the world's largest regenerative farm—without owning any land—fighting deforestation and amplifying global carbon capture.We're gathering an extraordinary team to tackle one of the world's toughest challenges, and we're looking for a world-class Principal Software Engineer to design and implement technology solutions that scale our impact and bring this mission to life.Responsibilities : Architect, design, and develop core services and platform infrastructureDrive the technical vision and roadmap for Sanctu's platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and securityLead and mentor a growing team of engineers, fostering an innovative and collaborative environmentCollaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to translate goals into technical solutionsImplement best practices for software development, including CI / CD, code reviews, and testingWork with data science and analytics teams to build AI-powered tools that aid farmers and promote forest regenerationQualifications : 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on scalable web platformsProven expertise in backend and infrastructure design, ideally with experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)Strong understanding of data security, distributed systems, and API designLeadership experience with a demonstrated ability to guide and inspire engineering teamsFluency in English; Portuguese is a plusWhat we offer : The chance to make history alongside brilliant minds at a well-funded startupStock-option planRemote and distributed work flexibilityComprehensive health plan for you and your family
