What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Conduct outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows, delivering professional sales presentations
Assess customer needs, develop customized price quotes, and measure product specifications
Present warranty and financing options to customers while processing sales-related paperwork
Prospect for new customers inside assigned stores and during industry events, building relationships with store management and associates
Attend sales and store team meetings to enhance sales techniques and learn about product offerings
What is Required (Qualifications)
Must be eighteen years of age or older
Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in sales
Ability to maintain 55 hours of open calendar time per week for customer appointments and prospecting
Access to reliable transportation for local travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
3-5 years of prior in-home or virtual sales experience
Experience in the home improvement industry
Successful lead generation experience
Proficiency in computer applications and technology usage (email, iPad, apps, etc.)
