SAP Release Manager is a vital position in the LATAM Region, overseeing the entire lifecycle of SAP releases.

This entails formulating release strategies and schedules, managing deployments, and post-go-live support to ensure quality and minimize disruptions.Key Responsibilities : Strategic Planning : Develop and maintain the SAP release strategy, plan, and calendar, coordinating release windows and cycles across various SAP modules and integrated applications.Release Execution : Manage and coordinate all release activities, ensuring timely and seamless execution by collaborating with development, testing, and infrastructure teams.Process Governance : Implement and enforce release management processes and quality gates, ensuring adherence to standards such as ITIL, SOX, and audit requirements.Risk Identification : Identify potential risks to the release schedule, quality, and scope, and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or disruptions.Stakeholder Engagement : Liaise with business stakeholders, project managers, and other relevant teams to align release activities with business priorities.Communication : Act as the central point of communication, providing transparency on release plans, risks, impacts, and progress to all involved parties.Post-Release Review : Conduct post-release reviews and track release KPIs (success rate, defect leakage), identifying lessons learned for continuous process improvement.Ultimately, this role demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to drive strategic change while ensuring business continuity.
