About the Opportunity

Our US-based client is hiring a Senior DBT + Snowflake Developer to lead data engineering initiatives. This role is 100% remote , with direct hiring by the US client, and candidates must be located in Brazil or Costa Rica .

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain dbt (Core / Cloud) models and transformations in Snowflake .
  • Design and optimize data pipelines for scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Implement and manage CI / CD pipelines for dbt projects.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams across the US and Latin America .
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security within Snowflake.
  • Lead technical design, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with dbt (Core / Cloud) and Snowflake .
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and data modeling (Star Schema, Data Vault, etc.).
  • Experience with CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) .
  • Exposure to at least one cloud platform ( AWS, Azure, or GCP ).
  • Professional proficiency in English (mandatory).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills in an international environment.

    • Experience Level

  • 6+ years in data engineering / BI.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with dbt + Snowflake and CI / CD .
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.

  • Work Model : 100% Remote .
  • Location : Must be based in Brazil or Costa Rica .
  • Engagement : Direct hire by the US-based client.
  • Language : English (professional proficiency required) .
