Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions for nuclear operations applications and data systems
• Develop cloud strategies that align with nuclear regulatory requirements (NRC), cybersecurity standards (10 CFR 73.54), and industry best practices
• Lead cloud migration initiatives for nuclear applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and maintaining safety-critical system integrity
• Implement robust security controls, identity and access management, and data protection measures for sensitive nuclear information
• Collaborate with nuclear engineering, operations, IT security, and compliance teams to ensure cloud solutions meet operational and regulatory needs
• Design hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures that support both corporate and plant-specific nuclear systems
• Establish cloud governance frameworks, cost optimization strategies, and disaster recovery / business continuity plans
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and services for applicability to nuclear operations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on cloud best practices and architecture patterns
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architectures, security controls, and compliance measures
