ITTConnect is seeking a Tableau Server Administrator to work remotely for a client in the US. This is a long term position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the retail / food services / technology area.

Job location : Remote, work from home anywhere in Brazil .

Only resumes in English will be reviewed. All interviews will be in English only (must be fluent)

Responsibilities :

Ability to setup and configure Tableau servers on various on prem and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with server upgrades and parameter changes
Proficiency in connecting Tableau to different data sources and extract data from these sources
Manage user permissions, security, and access within Tableau environments
Troubleshoot Tableau performance issues and optimizing dashboards

Requirements :

Minimum 10 years of IT experience

3+ years of hands-on experience managing Tableau Servers

Strong understanding of Tableau architecture, including workbooks, data sources, extract refresh schedules, and server maintenance.

Knowledge of Tableau Server features, including scheduling, content management, and server configuration.

Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) to troubleshoot data-related issues.

Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or batch scripting for automating administrative tasks is a plus.

Understanding of data governance concepts and experience implementing data security measures in Tableau.

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is a plus but not required

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to explain and understand problems effectively

Strong stakeholder communication skills

Time zone : Pacific Time Zone preferred, but flexibility is possible
